Important aspects regarding Chinas' future

China will continually expand its opening- and growth policies.
Through China’s membership in the WTO (World Trade Organization), market entry into China is now wide open.
To reflect this change, new levels of economic and scientific contacts will be strived for, not to mention on the political and cultural levels as well.  Thus, especially for foreign partners, many hurdles must be overcome.  China is ultimately seeking to create optimal conditions for the private economy, and herewith to increase growth in prosperity.
By the middle of the next century, China would like to have some of its modernizing goals reached:

• An independent, democratic and highly civilized country will play an important role in the maintenance of world peace and be a concrete part of a prospering world economy.
